Leeanne is a highly seasoned leader, insight strategist, and brand consultant with over 25 years of experience in business and marketing management, and custom research.
She developed her marketing and business knowledge and expertise through a traditional brand marketing pathway in CPG marketing, starting her career at Cadbury (a division of Kraft Foods) before moving to Pillsbury (General Mills) as the Business Team Director on the flagship Pillsbury Dough brand.
With a solid record in CPG marketing, Leeanne joined the Diamond Trading Company (De Beers) where she was Managing Director, Canada, leading the strategic development of insights-based business and brand and building programs.
In 2007, Leeanne took her disciplined, strategic, and well-rounded perspective on marketing and business development to the research realm at a boutique agency, successfully championing and mentoring large qualitative studies in the pharmaceutical space across a broad range of therapeutic areas and geographies.
She later joined Ipsos as Senior Vice President where she started and led the highly successful Canadian qualitative healthcare practice, leveraging her cultivated leadership, business and marketing skills, and collaborative approach, combined with her passion for human insight.
In 2017, Leeanne founded Smart Insights & Ideas Inc. where she combines her leadership and business-building acumen with her commitment to uncovering inspiring insights that enable unstoppable healthcare brands.
